MONTHLY PATROL ARTICLE – AUGUST 2008
North Dobson Gate project is almost completed. The “Flintstones” boulders have been removed, and will eventually be replaced by decorative flower pots of some kind. The Image Committee is working on that. Pedestrian gate openings have been placed on each side of the swing gates. The gates will be locked and keys will be available in the Patrol Office. We will announce that when the project is completed.
Arrows will be painted on the exit side of Dobson, as you approach Cherrywood. The inside lane will be for LEFT TURN ONLY and the outside lane will be RIGHT TURN AND STRAIGHT AHEAD. This is all part of the 1st phase of the Gate Committee’s recommendations.
Our Vacation Watch program is really working great now. We have over 650 homes on the “Watch List.” This is a free service that we perform for Ironwood and Oakwood homeowners, so take advantage of it if you plan on being away.
Two (2) areas continue to be problems for us; speeding, and parking on the street at night. Please remember to drive within the speed limits. Help keep our streets safe. Parking on the streets at night is not permitted, unless authorized by the Patrol, in advance. If you need to park a vehicle on the street, please call the Mobile Patrol at 480-797-6508 and obtain a special parking permit.
